Spring Wellness- Glow Up with Self Care

As the earth softens and the first green shoots begin to rise, spring invites us to awaken the body, mind, and soul.

In Traditional holistic practice, Spring is recognized as a season of renewal, growth, and upward movement, both in nature and within ourselves.

Spring is a great time to start setting intentions, planting seeds of change, and observing how you can blossom into something beautiful and magnificent this year and beyond!

Get a Clean Start
Start fresh with healthy habits that can help improve your physical and mental well-being, boost your energy levels, and increase your overall quality of life. Here are some ways to get you started.

Begin your day with a glass of warm water or an herbal detox infusion  to awaken the liver, stimulate digestion, and balance energy.

Foods for Spring Wellness

To align with the season, choose foods that are light, green, bitter, and have an astringent effect.

• Leafy greens & sprouts (dandelion, kale, nettles, arugula, mung beans).

• Beet juice improves bile flow and digestion.

• Sour foods like lemon, lime, green apples, and apple cider vinegar to stimulate Liver function.

• Bitter herbs such as dandelion and burdock to cleanse the blood and bile.

• Sprouts: Mung bean, alfalfa, radish sprouts (symbolize upward growth).

• Light plant proteins: Lentils, edamames, chickpeas, almonds, and spirulina.

• Favour warm, light meals: like soups with warming spices (ginger, cumin, turmeric).

• Eat Raw Carrots: Consuming at least one raw carrot daily provides fibers that bind to toxins and facilitate their removal from the liver.

• Limit consuming: Dairy, sugar, white flour, animal protein, animal byprducts, processed and fried meals.

Get Things Moving

Perform a Liver Flush: Consider our "Liver Build" herbal blend with natural ingredients like Red beet Root, Dandelion Root, Parsley Leaves, Cayenne Pepper, Horsetail, Barberry Root, and Milk Thistle to support liver detoxification.

Engage in daily movement: Stretching, yoga, Qi Gong, brisk walks, dancing, gym, running.

Get outside in the morning sun to help reset your circadian rhythm and uplift your mood. Aim to spend more time outdoors each day walking, grounding, and soaking in natural light.

Detox Body & Mind

Embrace emotional cleansing such as
journaling, breathwork, or creative outlets like crafting, painting, playing an instrument, pottery, etc.

Let go of resentment and set intentions, Spring is a potent time for planting new seeds.

Reduce screen time: and redirect your energy toward meaningful, heart-led actions such as volunteer work, reading a book, gardening, etc.

Dry brushing in the morning to help
move lymphatic fluid and awaken the skin.

Oil pulling to detoxify your teeth, mouth
 and digestive tract.

Breathwork/deep breathing (bonus points if it’s in nature), is a powerful way to support detoxification.

Clear the Clutter

Spring clean your home:
decluttering creates energetic space.

Make four piles: Keep, Trash, Donate, Sell.
Keep the necessary and essential. Trash what is no longer useful. Donate what no longer serves you, or fits you. Sell what is still useful but no longer need by you.

Glutathione Is The Key Factor In Controlling Inflammation And Creating The Optimal Environment For A Healthy Liver. Common Sense™ "Liver Build" Was Made With The Best Of Nature's Herbs To Ensure Optimal Liver Function.
