Anything that grows from nature is an herb. Herbs are the highest quality food known to man provided by nature. Herbs are essentially all the parts of the plant with its roots, leaves, seeds, flowers, and fruit. They are complete with all essential vitamins, minerals, and trace elements a body need.
Herbs were created with healing properties by nature to maintain and restore our health. Herbs are known to work on the cause of the health issue rather than on the symptom. We believe the intelligence of the body can be found in herbs and they are meant to nourish organs so that they can function properly.
Our herbal products do not have negative side effects. At some point you may experience the herb’s cleansing action which may stir the waste as part of the detoxifying process which helps bring the body into a state of wellness.
We do not put expiration dates on our products. Instead, we put the manufacture date at the bottom of the bottles.
Manufacture Date (MFG): The Date when a product is manufactured, assembled, mass-produced, and bottled.
Expiration Date: The date when a product starts losing its cessation, conclusion, coming to an end.
Our herbs are dehydrated then formed into tablets or encapsulated. They are reactivated when introduced to water, not losing their freshness and potency.
According to GMP regulation, herbal products are stable up to 4 years from the MFG date. When stored properly, they can last beyond the 4 years.
Liquids & Powders are stable up to 2 years from manufacture date. When stored properly, they can last beyond the 2 years.
CSP prides itself on providing the freshest product possible at the best price. At our facility, we have established strict quality control measures and closely monitor our inventory so we can guarantee the product we deliver to you is the best quality possible. We have a robust testing program in place for all our products which would also include a re-test of products on an as-needed basis. Using the manufacture date is due to regulations and is not a reflection of our quality.
Yes, herbs are food. It’s the same as eating several types of vegetables, leafy greens, and fruits. The intelligence of your body is in the herb, therefore when you take several herbs at the same time, your body will deliver specific nutrients to the organ in need.
When using CSP Herbal Products, you should begin with the amount suggested on the product label and observe how your body responds to that amount. If you do not receive the desired result, you may safely increase or decrease the amount accordingly.
Since herbs are food, you can take them at your convenience. We suggest taking them on an empty stomach which can be 30 minutes before a meal, or 1 hour after a meal. Doing so will allow the body to get the most out of the herb. Those on a busy schedule prefer to take them first thing in the morning and in the evening, 1 to 2 hours before sleep. Herbs that help with sleep are preferably taken a half hour before bedtime. Herbs that aid digestion should be taken with your meal.
To our knowledge, if the manufacturer’s herbs consist of 100% plants, they are safe to take. However, keep in mind, as with anything that you put in your body you should get in the habit of reading the ingredients list on the label. Check to make sure the herbs you consume are in fact 100% plants. We, at Common Sense™ Products, take pride in the quality of our ingredients and do not use non-plant material in our herbal combinations.
Our herbs can be taken safely for long periods of time. The length of time will vary depending on how you feel and the progress you have made. A good rule of thumb is for every year of bad eating or drinking habits, it can take a month or more to restore your health, and if unhealthy habits persist, it may take longer. The herbs were designed to cleanse and nourish, so if you chose to, you could take them for life! Keep in mind that we eat daily, so we should eliminate daily as well.
The length of time that it takes to experience noticeable results is different for everyone and involves many factors; the severity of the problem, an individual’s digestive system, the way a person’s body processes the herbs taken, etc. If you would like to experience faster results, consistency is key!
Yes, children can take our herbal products. Remember, herbs are food, and are no different than eating fruit or vegetables. They also strengthen and cleanse, and help to nourish the body as it grows. Children 10 years of age and under may take half the suggested amount for adults.
Yes, it is perfectly fine to crush and/or blend the herbs into a smoothie, juice, or other foods. This will not decrease the potency of the herbs but make it easier to swallow for those that have a hard time taking tablets or want added nutrients in their food and drinks.
Keep in mind, the herbs and cayenne pepper (capsicum) in our herbal combinations may alter the taste and may add a bit of heat and/or bitterness to your drink or food.

Herbal Lax is a gentle version of SuperLax. If you are already able to eliminate more than once a day, Herbal Lax may be the right choice for you. However, if you are not eliminating at least 3 times or more per day, we suggest SuperLax to help you reach your goal.
Not at all! Herbs are non-habit forming. Remember, herbs are food, they were created to cleanse and nourish our body to health and wellness.
Proper elimination consists of 3 or more bowel movements per day, every day. Anything less than 3 bowel movements a day is considered constipation. Common SenseTM Products Herbal Lax and SuperLax are herbal colon cleansers that promote proper elimination. These aren’t man-made laxatives that force unnatural bowel movements, they are effective cleansers that are gentle on your body.
Yes, however we do not recommend it. Keep in mind that all disease begins in the colon. SuperLax helps remove old, hard and dry waste from the colon wall. It also promotes proper toxic waste elimination which is the first and most important step on your journey to good health. It is imperative that you eliminate 3 or more times a day, every day.
Keep in mind that our bodies are different. The suggested amount on the label is just that, a suggestion. What works for one person may not necessarily work for the next and vice versa. Don’t worry! You may safely increase the number of tablets by one tablet at a time until you reach the goal of eliminating 3 or more times daily.
Look for the 5 signs of proper elimination:
- Your waste is shaped with the colon imprint.
- Your waste floats, rather than sinks, to the top of the water.
- Your waste is odorless.
- Your waste is approximately 2 inches in diameter.
- You eliminate at least 1 hour after each meal.
It is very harmful to keep waste in the body. It will likely de-compose and this is very harmful! Imagine never taking the trash out from your home, in a short period of time your home would be infested with dangerous bacteria and unwanted pests. The same happens to your intestines when the waste is not being flushed out consistently.
In our opinion and experience, herbs are as safe as eating fruits or vegetables. However, you may choose to space out your herbs and medications as many customers have chosen to do so. If you are not sure about your decision, we suggest you consult with your primary health care professional.
Herbs are food and are no different than eating fruits or vegetables. Which allows CSP herbs to be taken in large quantities without harmful effects. Therefore, you can take any or all CSP herbs simultaneously and experience great health benefits. For best results, we suggest taking our CSP herbs on an empty stomach.
